The Queenstown Winter Festival was a huge success, again! The mountains were busy thanks to the new snow we got just days before the festival. Also the parks and restaurants in town were overflowing with visitors as well as locals, offering a huge variety of entertainment for all ages. We were lucky to get some beautiful winter weather during the week to make the best out on the slopes. We hope everyone stayed warm and dry!

If you are in need of more snow gear, here at Rockies we have everything from head to toe. Our newest arrivals are the Stonz snow boots for toddlers all the way from Canada! These waterproof booties have two toggles to adjust to the kid's feet and the soft rubber soles provide traction for new walkers. They come in six different colours and prints from 6-month-olds to 2.5-year-olds.

We have a huge selection of beanies from colourful ones so the kids will be seen when night skiing or fancy ones with animal prints for the streets. Bandanas and neck warmers are a must to keep away the cold. Check out our funky prints on the facemasks!

One important protective element to remember is the helmet. We have protective helmets for snow, bike and skate from well-known labels Red and Smith. Our helmet sizes vary from 49cm to 58cm. They are light, comfortable, ventilated and suitable to use with goggles. Choose from our funny helmet covers to make a totally new look!

Coming down the slope is so much more comfortable with the right kind of protective eyewear. Goggles also vary in different styles, colours and brands. Smith, Anon and Alpina all deliver quality protection from infants to adults.

After a day out in the cold it's nice to wrap up in soft and cozy trackies and hoodies. New in store for girls we have pretty Roxy fleece hoodies and trackpants. For boys the latest additions are the DC hoodies which come in bright new colours of red, yellow and blue.

Here at Rockies we hope everyone will enjoy the wintery Queenstown! There is plenty of snow and ice related activities to do like skiing, snowboarding, heli-skiing, sledging and ice skating. And when the nature turns its' back on us on the mountains, you can always enjoy the warm atmosphere in a selection of great restaurants or get yourself warm by an adrenaline rush when doing the bungy jump or a ride on a jet boat. Enjoy the winter now before it's too late!
